My view on AI

I do not use 'generative' AI in any of my published work.

For programming: LLMs are not used to produce code that I have published unless clearly marked otherwise. I will only accept contributions which do not look like they're written with the help of LLMs. That means that, so long as you can make your contribution look 100% written by a human, then I will accept it.

For art: none of my art, including music, uses wholy AI-generated segments. By that, I mean that I may use AI tools such as sequenced vocal synthesisers like Vocaloid, and other tools which may be described as 'AI'. But other AI technologies such as AI voice filters or AI generation of whole segments in music is, in my view, unacceptable. When I talk about 'wholy AI-generated music', I mean the use of tools such as Suno.

I do use LLMs for exploring what they can do. I think it's foolish to remain ignorant as to the current capabilities of these tools. However, I am opposed to the idea of letting LLMs and other AI tools take over your decision-making, and I do not let them generate any content which I publish (apart from small toy stuff that I don't want anyone to take seriously).

In short, do not send me wholly LLM-generated code, or any art which is wholly AI-generated.
