My view on AI

I do not use 'generative' AI in any of my published work.

For programming: LLMs are not used in any form in my programs or any of my code. I will not accept any contributions (such as pull requests on GitHub) which include LLM-generated code.

For art: none of my art, including music, uses wholy AI-generated segments. By that, I mean that I may use AI tools such as sequenced vocal synthesisers like Vocaloid, and other tools which may be described as 'AI'. But other AI technologies such as AI voice filters or AI generation of whole segments in music is, in my view, unacceptable. When I talk about 'wholy AI-generated music', I mean the use of tools such as Suno.

I do use LLMs for exploring what they can do. I think it's foolish to remain ignorant as to the current capabilities of these tools. However, I am opposed to the idea of letting LLMs and other AI tools take over your decision-making, and I do not let them generate any content which I publish.

Do not send me any LLM-generated code, or art which is wholy AI-generated.
